In 2009 a teak bench and chair were purchased and installed in the garden by Flotsam and Jetsam Garden Club, as a memorial to its members. Named "Remembrance Place," this serene spot is for everyone to enjoy. Shaded by tall trees, it is the perfect place to sit and view the garden. The earliest plant to bloom in the garden, Indian plum, heralds the approach of spring.
